Our Services

"Graduate to a Better Future"

Striving to help you with confidence:  We have over two decades of experience working with and being referred by a client list of successful educators and their families who see us as their "future facilitator."  Personally, I enjoy analyzing the details of your plan and, hopefully, coming up with a simple solution to help you reach your objective.  My wife, Mary Anne Simmons, CPA, MBA, is my partner in our business.  I like to think of our business as a family affair; our family helping you and your family graduate to a better future.

We have created two distince programs called The SMART Transtion ExperienceTM:

Educators and Couples

We have been working in the not for profit K-12, 501(c)(3) marketplace for over two decades.  Through this experience, we came up with the unique process called The SMART Transtion Expereince for EducatorsTM.  It is a step-by-step process that helps educators transition into retirement with confidence.  We ask educators to do some homework and to fill out our SMART Scorecard.  This helps our clients discover their big picture through a series of questions relevant to their unique situation.

We also created the SMART Transition Experience for Couples TM.  We have a unique ability in this area, because my wife, Mary Anne Simmons (MBA, CPA) is my partner.  As a couple, we have faced many challanges, been pulled in many directions, and we have learned how to align our personal, professional and financial goals.  We have built a process to help our clients find life balance.

SMARTFOOTPRINTS TM

We have created SMARTFOOTPRINTS TM and My Parent StoryTM.    SMARTFOOTPRINTS TM is an estate planning service we offer in the nature of inspirational storytelling for residents of  nursing homes and assisted living facilities with the goal of  building families and communities together via financial planning services and estate planning.   To facilitate that process we also created The SMART Footprint JournalTM.

The SMART Footprint JournalTM . The process has been created to help people record and share what is most important to them.  The journal can be used in a number of ways.  It can help you:

  • Reflect back on your life and share its meaning and significance with loved ones and friends
  • Think ahead and prepare for your twilight years.
  • Help someone else record what matters most to them.

Once your goals have been established, appropriate strategies are customized to suit your vision and objectives.
